Back To School!

I love my kids and we have had a wonderful six weeks of school holidays (which flew by) BUT I am so glad to be back at my desk, in a quiet house, being able to get on with what I need to do, when I need to do it.

After I've written this, I'm going to finish planning the rest of my week safe in the knowledge that I won't get asked to drive someone somewhere, or have to go and pick up MORE snacks from the supermarket!

I am full of excitement & hope for the last few months of 2021 - I'm determined to finish with a bang. Does anyone else feel like that?

I suppose if you haven't got kids (& your life isn't segmented into 5-7 week term blocks!) you may not feel it. But I do think that September has an air of anticipation about it. Knowing there are just 4 months left of this year with, for retailers especially, the busiest time of the year fast approaching.

I've got a couple of projects ready to go straight away, and a few more that I'll be working on over the coming weeks . Each of them equally exciting .

Now is a great time to revisit your own business and try & look at it through a fresh pair of eyes. Where is it a bit tired? How could it be updated? Who else could you serve? What could you do to bring in more business?

It is not the time to wind down, there's still a THIRD of the year left - let's make it a good one!
